Effect of Independence of Women on Divorce Statistics in India
Since the last few years, the Indian women are getting educated and becoming capable of earning. They have developed the power to spend money and gain knowledge of their rights. The result is that they have become independent and consequently reluctant to adjust with the traditional views of their counterparts. The Indian women do not want to continue the same old rut that has persisted for centuries in the country. As they desire to explore more opportunities and experiment with this newly acquired independence, the divorce rate in India is increasing.
