Alert on for dowry-seeking NRI

If any naive person were to read this article the first thing they would think is this poor innocent girl has been taken for a ride, let reality set in now, at this point we realize its the man who is the victim here being taken for a big long ride down the road of India's draconian criminal  legal system which is designed and certified by the Feminazi Witches to castrate men. It is amazing the Media, in this case the Times of India, supposedly one of the more reputable papers simply tells one side of the story, a biased Female centric journalism. If this were written in the same fashion in any Western country the new outlet can expect swift legal action at the most strictest extent of the law, its amazing that India wants to follow Western Nations on all levels when it comes to Feminist laws and ways yet ignores other issues as just and far reporting in the media. The Media needs to held accountable for just sensational journalism for the sake of readership and profit at the expense of Men.This is not the first time the News media has published such Libelous articles and defamed someone without repercussions. What is need is for them to Defame someone just once who has the resources to take them to task, they report on Non Resident Indians since they are residing outside the country mostly and dont have the time to start a civil case against them.

GURGAON: The Gurgaon police have been issuing alert notices to all airports across the country against Navin Chawla, an NRI working in Australia, after his Gurgaon-based wife filed a dowry harassment case against him at the sector nine police station.

Nisha Chawla, Navins wife, had registered an FIR in July this year when her efforts to save her marriage went awry.

Following Nishas complaints, the police have requested the foreigners regional registration office (FRRO) to issue a Look Out Circular (LOC) notice, so that Navin is arrested if he comes to India. The request has been sent to prominent authorities and the LOC will very soon become operational in all airports in India, said Maheshwer Dayal, Deputy Commissioner of Police, East.

Nisha, a management graduate, got married to Chawla in 2008. It was an arranged marriage. Once I moved to Sydney, he started fighting with me for petty issues, Nisha said. She added that her husband took exception to the fact that she was not working and that he and his family kept harassing her dowry.

Nisha said that she decided to get back to India when she could not bear the torture anymore. My in-laws did not support me; rather they chided me for not supporting Navin financially and started demanding more money from my father, said Nisha.

Earlier this year, the victim had filed a complaint against Navin with the Gurgaon womens cell. But when Navin promised her to mend his ways and sort their marital issues, Nisha withdrew the charges.

Navin had visited India earlier this year and the couple had even went on a trip and visited Vaishno Devi. However when they got back to Delhi and before returning to Australia, Navin tricked Nishas family into handing him her passport. He knew that if I visited Australia before July 2010, then I would have become eligible to seek permanent residency in that country. He only couriered the passport back to me after July. He had also asked me for Rs 2 lakhs to buy air tickets, Nisha alleged.

After realizing the fact that neither Navin nor his family is unlikely to change their ways, Nisha filed the complained with the Gurgaon police. Her in-laws have moved an anticipatory bail in the Chandigarh High Court.
