Obscene shows may face harsh action

Naturally the Feminazi's have to stick there noses where anything has to do with Women's Immorality issues, all they teach and spread is immorality, so when one of there own is effected stand up for the cause.

On screen bullying, obscene language, vulgarity and other objectionable content might lead to unprecedented “harsh” action against the makers of three programmes and the channels which air them. An Inter Ministerial Committee comprising representatives of the ministries of Information and Broadcasting, and various child rights and women’s rights organisations are believed to have met in the Capital on Monday to discuss wide-spread criticism of three programmes.

“There have been several complaints about objectionable content in Bigg Boss on Colors, the reports of a youth committing suicide after being insulted by show host Rakhi Sawant in Rakhi ka Insaaf on Imagine and about abusive content on Emotional Atyachaar on Bindaas. So the committee met and took certain decisions,” said a senior official who attended the meeting.

No one was available for comment on any of the three channels. The decisions likely to be made public in the next few days “may go beyond the usual show-cause notice, channel’s reply, warning or apology scroll cycle, this time round,” said another official.

The pressure on the I&B ministry to take harsh steps mounted later this evening, with the National Commission for Women also jumping into the fray. The NCW has objected to the tenor and language on Rakhi ka Insaaf.

Commission chairperson Girija Vyas  said she had issued an advisory to the channel Imagine that is held by Turner General Entertainment Networks India Limited or TGEN that is a Time-Warner concern.
